Obituary

Dolores Ann Rizzo, 85, died peacefully on June 7, 2021.
Dolores/The Nani was a force to be reckoned with. She was an excellent cook, a competitive Samba player, and a kind soul. Dolores was an open minded individual and willing to try anything once.
Dolores was born in Chicago on October 2, 1935, to parents Leo and Pia Gallina.
Dolores is survived by her children, Michael (Annette) Rizzo, Charles (Ginny) Rizzo, and Diana Hennessy, her grandchildren, Nicolette, Joseph; Christopher (Kristina), Nicholas; Sean, Bryan, Brendan, and McKenzie, her great-grandchild, Avery, with another on the way, and her sister, Argia (Donald) Bellanger.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Vito Rizzo, and her son-in-law, John Hennessy.

A memorial mass will be held on Tuesday, June 22, 2021, at 10 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church, 10307 Dundee Road, Huntley.
