Diosdada “Dading” Sato Laput, age 73, of Huntley, Illinois, passed away on Wednesday, June 9, 2021, at 3:44 p.m. in Northwestern Huntley Hospital.
Diosdada was born October 9, 1947, in Cebu, Philippines to Marciano Sato and Melitona Pakres. She was united in marriage to Ernesto Laput.
Diosdada devoted her life to the care of her children and always had the heart of an entrepreneur.
Diosdada is survived by her husband, Ernesto Laput of Cebu Citi, her children, Vincent (Lucila) Laput, Kenneth (Sharon) Laput, Everest (Rusella) Laput, Erniest Laput, and Gilbert (Ann) Laput, her grandchildren, Pristine, Ara, Cheska, Wacky, Sydney, Kacey, Kane, Ella, Everson, and Ethan, her siblings, Roberta Sata, Abondio Sato, Antonio Sato, and Nelson Sato, her brothers and sisters in law, and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and her siblings, Leon Sato, Juan Sato, Edgardo Sato, and Rubin Sato.
Visitation will be Monday, June 14, 2021, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at DeFiore Funeral Home, 10763 Dundee Road, Huntley. Mass will be Tuesday, June 15, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church, 10307 Dundee Road, Huntley.
