Shaun Davis, 49, died peacefully in his home the morning of June 24th. He died like he lived, in total control. After months of fighting, he was ready to go and went quickly, just days after saying those words.
Shaun was a wonderful son, the best brother, and the most loyal friend. He was independent, strong, stubborn and had a very twisted sense of humor.
He had a tough exterior with a marshmallow center and always took care of those he loved. He was a great poker player, he loved to watch movies, read and hang out with the people he loved. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Shaun is survived by his parents, Peter and Linda Davis (nee Stevenson), his older sister, Alyssa Davis, his younger brother, Paul Davis (Kelly Grogan) and Kit the cat. Brian Rosen (Cathy) Larry Rosen (Gail). His best friend since 2nd grade, Billy Morris, Billy’s children, Ashley and Dakota Morris, beloved Morris Children, Samantha (Sean) Gerst, Sarah Morris, Serena Morris (fiancé Donald Daumke) and Justin Morris (Kelly LaMarche).
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Shaun’s name can be made to the charity of your choice.
A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, July 10, 2021, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. with a time for sharing stories at 3:00 p.m. at DeFiore Funeral Home, 10763 Dundee Road, Huntley.
Water will be provided, food will not be due to Covid restrictions.

I did not know Shaun, but I could sense through his sister Alyssa that he was very unique and sincere, and above all an extremely reliable person. I pray his family will find solace as time goes by, and will keep fond and fun memories of him. He is now resting in peace.
Hearts are broken by your absence but a life lived and touched by Shaun.

I'm so very to read this news. Shaun was a friend since Einstein School. Though we hadn't kept in touch, it's so hard to read of the passing of childhood friends. Wishing the family comfort during this difficult time.

Dear Peter, Linda, Alyssa, and Paul, I can't begin to describe how my heart is breaking for you. I am so sorry for your loss of such a beautiful son and brother. He brought so much light into everyone's lives and our memories of him will continue to do so.
