Almeda “Dee” Bonds, 70 of Des Plaines, Illinois died peacefully, July 2, 2021, with
her family by her side.
Visitation for Dee will be on Thursday, July 8 from 4-7pm at DeFiore Funeral
Home-10763 Dundee Road, Huntley.
Dee was born October 31, 1950, in Endicott, New York the daughter of James and
Winifred Pratt. Twenty-seven years ago, she married Dennis Bonds. She worked
as an Activity Director. She enjoyed camping, Holiday Acres in Garden Prairie.
Family was her everything, her kids and grandkids brought her great joy. Dee will
be remembered as loving, compassionate, generous, and for her great sense of
humor. Dee was a loving wife, mother, grandma, and friend who will be missed
by all who knew her.
She is survived by her husband, Dennis, her children, Patrick (Diane) Readdy,
Kelley Montwicki and James (Sherry) Readdy By her grandchildren, Tony (Taylor),
Alex, Payton, Parker, Paige, Zach, Jimbo, Dani, Katrina, and Nate and by great
grandchildren, Taelynn and Tatum and by her dog Gia and many nieces, nephews,
and cousins.
Dee was preceded in death by her parents and by her brothers Howard and
Clayton LeBeau.

Someone once said "You never die until you are forgotten". I don't know who to credit this to. I trust that we live on in the hearts and memories of those who love us. I believe that when we pass over it is a new and groovy place of peace and understanding. Here is hoping you find peace and condolences with this.
