Obituary

Theodore Clarence Marek, 64, of Lake in Hills, died July 18, 2021 after a courageous battle with cancer.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 23, 2021 from 9:00am until the time of the 11:00am Mass all at St. Mary Catholic Church-10307 Dundee, Huntley. Burial will be at Mt. Emblem Cemetery. In lieu of flowers may be directed to the American Diabetes Association.
Theodore Clarence Marek was born September 13, 1956 in Chicago, Illinois the son of Theodore and Jean Marek. He worked as a car salesman and also owned his own soldering business. He was an avid hunter, enjoyed pheasant and duck hunting. He also enjoyed time with his hunting dogs.
He is survived by his mother Jean “Patsy” Marek, his daughter, Victoria (Brandon) Banks, Victoria's mother, Carol Lynn Marek, by his two sisters, Debbie (Christ) Fillip and Carol (Edward) Cohen and by his 3 nephews and 1 niece.
Ted was preceded in death by his father, Theodore.

I recently met Ted ast year and found him a gentleman. im so sorry he's gone. He helped my children when buying a car.he gave such good advice to me He was a great man , He will be missed. Patti collier I just tried to call him .a suspected something wrong.
