Jane Roberts, 80, of Huntley, died peacefully, surrounded by family, July 24, 2021.
Visitation will be on Sunday, August 1, 2021 from 2-5pm at DeFiore Funeral Home-10763 Dundee Road, Huntley. A funeral service will be held 11:00am on Monday, August 2, 2021 at the funeral home. Burial will be at Huntley Cemetery.
Jane was born May 21, 1941 in Tennessee. She married the love of her life Walter Roberts, Sr. on May 11, 1959 in Chicago. Jane enjoyed watching tennis, the Hallmark Channel and was also a fan of QVC. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family! She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who will be missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her children, Terry (William) Bucher, Sheila (Wayne) Ralston, Walter, Jr. ”Rob” (Carmella) Roberts, Judy (David) Drewes, and Steve (Laura) Roberts, her 20 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Many nieces and nephews and her forever friends, Charlie (Wanda) Hensley and Roy (Pearl) Randall, Carol Motley and Daphine Motley.
Jane was preceded in death by her husband Walter and by her daughter, Elizabeth “Liz”.
