Margaret (nee Panosian) Karidis, of Huntley, died peacefully in her home on Tuesday, August 3, 2021.
Margaret was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on January 7, 1937, to parents Manoug and Perlanti (nee Halebian) Panosian. Margaret enjoyed a long life of many endeavors. She was employed as a TWA airline attendant, a law firm office manager, and a receptionist for several notable business firms. Margaret was an avid gardener, cook, and seamstress. She was completely devoted to the care of others. She had a weakness for convertibles, the seashore, and margaritas.
She is survived by her beloved husband, Chris Karidis, her daughter, Christina (Peter) Malecke, her grandchildren, Matthew, Tyler, and Trevor, and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and her brother, Garo Panosian.
A memorial visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 18, 2021, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at DeFiore Funeral Home, 10763 Dundee Road, Huntley.
