Barb, As I read of Dan’s passing I had so many fond memories of the time I shared with both of you. The last time we all spoke was in front of the St. Mary of the Lake Chapel at our 50th Anniversary in 2018. I remember: our many Christmas letter exchanges; the many times that I ran into Dan at SHRM conventions; the good times we all had together in the early days before Judy and I moved to CA. Most of all I remember the love, support and prayers you gave me when I lost Judy. Now I can only give you and the family my deepest sympathy, love and prayers at the loss of a truly great man. May God be with you and get you through this time of loss and sorrow. Please stay in touch, Love, Jim

I am so grateful of our 40 years plus friendship. I always enjoyed my time spent with Dan, our many conversations at the kitchen table and on the patio, and on the phone, our many, many card games when my husband Ray was alive and the years after, even very recent when Dan was feeling better after his many hospitalizations in recent years. Dan was special, gentle and always ready to share words of wisdom. I knew he wanted to be there for you Barb and Cheryl and Erin, how much he tried to help when his body was tired. I will always remember and Dan and all the special memories we shared. Barb, you and the girls are in my daily prayers. Love you!
