Carol Diane Kruse was born in Chicago IL on September 25, 1934 and died August 19,2021. She was preceded in death by her parents George and Betty Taylor; her brother, Douglas Taylor; and her son David Kruse. A friend of Bill W. for 51 years, she is survived by her husband, Robert (Bob) Kruse to whom she was married for 56 years, her children Michael Aerts, Stephen Aerts (Kimberley), her sister Judy Lynn Hoppe, step children Linda Haney(Dennis) and Lori Kruse. Grandchildren: Veronica Devereaux (Eric), Katie Rizvi (Sami) Megan Henkels (Phil), Matt Aerts, and Joe Wolff. Great grandchildren: Molly, Thomas, Gavin, Sophie, Mae, Maddy, David, and Paige along with many nieces and nephews. -She was an active volunteer for many years in both Sarasota and Boca Grande in the Community Center and church. She turned down several awards for her work as a volunteer since accepting them would have interfered with traditions she held dear.
A funeral mass will be held on Saturday, September 25th at 10:00 AM at St. Mary Catholic church, 10307 Dundee Road in Huntley. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Ronald McDonald House of Madison, 2716 Marshall Court, Madison, WI 53705.
