Obituary

Charles Michael Scott, age 77, passed peacefully at home on Thursday, August 19th, 2021.

Charles (Scotty) was born May 6th, 1944 in Tuscaloosa, Alabama to John and Melba Scott. He served four years in the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam War. Scotty lived in Des Plaines Illinois and worked as a Chemist for Helene Curtis and DeMert and Dougherty. After retiring he moved to Huntley, Illinois and was the Treasurer of the Sun City Pinochle Club.
Charles enjoyed being with his family, being a life-long University of Alabama football fan, singing in the Choir at All Saints, fishing with his grandchildren, playing golf and always winning at cards. He was always there to help if anyone needed anything.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Elizabeth Scott (nee Synoracki)
Three children and five grandchildren:
Stephen (Katy) and their son Nicholas
Douglas (Lori) and their daughter MaryJane and son Joseph
James (Nicole) and their daughters Samantha and Shelby

Please join us in celebrating his life.
The services for Charles will be held on October 9th with a Funeral Mass starting at 10:00am, at All Saints Cathedral Parish, 9201 W. Higgins Road, Chicago, Illinois.
Burial will immediately follow at All Saints Cathedral Parish Cemetery, located next to the church,
Lunch will be served in the lower hall of All Saints following the services.
