I am so sorry to hear of Fred's passing. I worked with him at Giant for five years, and he was always willing to share his wisdom , knowledge, or make the time to just chat and catch up. He was a good man, and I'm honored to have known him.

Sad to hear about Fred passing. He was a pioneer in the electric bike business of the USA, and a good guy in all respects. Cancer is affecting too many of my friends now, we must be getting to that age.

Fred will certainly be missed. I enjoyed working with him at Giant. He always found a way to celebrate success and his quick wit made uncomfortable situations manageable. He was liked and respected by many in the cycling industry and will be remembered for his work ethic and his mentoring of many current industry veterans.

Fred Teeman leaves a lasting legacy in the bicycle industry. I feel fortunate to have worked closely with him during my tenure at Giant. I equally enjoyed biking with him on the roads of Orange County, Ca., and remember the days of him routinely riding to our offices. The last time I saw Fred was 4 yrs ago at a custom show in Indianapolis. He was very supportive and interested to learn of my new ventures. I am sure that he was pleased to see that his tutelage had been heeded.

I met Fred two years ago together with Dave Karneboge during our trip to see the Giant USA Central warehouse. We have nice dinner in a good restaurant with his wife Pam, as I known Fred since he was the General Manager of Giant USA Central Office 18 years ago. He was our long time and forever friend. I really feel sad to know that a good man has past away. God bless Fred, Pam and his family. From John Koo, Giant Global CSO.

I had the honor of workig with Fred when he was at the Elgin facility, and he also taught me how to fly fish. I got to go with him to fish the White River in Arkansas and visit his mother. He will be truly missed as both a friend and fishing buddy. I am greatful that I was able to see him several more times since he moved back to Illinois. Thank you Pam for sharing him with all of us. May God Bless the Teeman Family.

Pam Kristen, our heartfelt prayers and condolences at Freds passing and your loss. I have very fond memories of working with Fred on my Schwinn World Sport that I rode in college and took with me 23 years ago to Seattle. Also of fishing with Fred and Jim and enjoying their arguments and one upping each how only brothers can. I regret not making time to see you all more. Our best to you always - Paul, Valerie Willem

I just learned of Fred's passing and wanted to offer my condolences to Pam and the family. I served in the Air Force with Fred stationed at Luke AFB and later we were deployed to Thailand. I remember when he and Pam were married and she moved out to Arizona. We spent most of our military careers together with two other airmen. We communicated with each other by mail about the time he was moving to California for a new job. He was a good friend and I will always treasure the memories.
