Patrick J. Kinnear, 81, died peacefully on October 24, 2021, at Alden Estates in Huntley.
Patrick was born in Chicago on September 16, 1940, to parents Charles and Florence (nee Honikel) Kinnear. Patrick married Lorraine Peruscini and together they raised their children, Lisa, Melissa, and Shawn.
Patrick was a proud member of the IBEW local 134. In his spare time, Patrick loved remodeling projects, woodworking, and vegetable gardening. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Patrick is survived by his beloved wife of 56 years, Lorraine Kinnear, his children, Lisa (Pete) Seegers, Melissa (Mike Rubsam) Kinnear, and Shawn Kinnear, and his grandchildren, Ian, Isabelle, Audrey, Elena, Joshua, and Ethan.
Services for Patrick were private at DeFiore Funeral Home.
