Gloria F. Harmon, 79, of Huntley died peacefully at JourneyCare in Barrington, Illinois on October 21, 2021.
Gloria was born February 17, 1942, in Buffalo, New York, the daughter of Wilmer and Verna Borchart. She was a graduate of Huntley High School. On May 19, 1963, she married Thomas E. Harmon, whom she met in the military when they were both serving in Texas. She enjoyed traveling with Tom, and she was an avid reader. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family.
She is survived by her children, Russell Harmon, Tracy (James) Heine, and Lisa Dunphy. She also had 8 grandchildren, Kyle and Callum Harmon, Sean, Ryan, and Lucas Heine, Erica (Joe) Kenny, Joshua, and Jacob Dunphy, and by her 2 great grandchildren, David and Kylie Kenny. She is also survived by her brothers, Barry (Kristi) Borchart, and Robert “Bud” (Carol) Connor.
Gloria was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Tom and siblings, William, and Diane.
