Bernice C. Bielinski, 93 of Pingree Grove, passed away on Tuesday, March 19, 2013.
She was born June 2, 1919 in Chicago the daughter of Martin and Caroline L. (Eichmeyer) Scheller. She was united in marriage to Harry C. Bielinski on November 25, 1946. The couple made their home in the Chicago area and she worked for almost 30 years in the hosiery department at Anne’s Department Store in Jefferson Park. In 1982 following retirement, she and her husband moved to Lakeland, Florida and lived in the Heatherwood development and later the Ariana. She loved Florida and enjoyed Bingo, social outings, crossword puzzles and following Cubs baseball. In 2009 she moved with her son to the Huntley area.
She is survived by her son, Dennis (Debbie) Bielinski of Pingree Grove, her grandsons, Jason R. and Richard J. and her sister, Joan Scott of Summerville, South Carolina. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry.
Bernice’s wishes were to be cremated and a private family memorial will be held at a later date.
