Marie Engelhardt

Obituary

Marie R. Engelhardt, 97, of Woodstock, formerly of Morton Grove, died peacefully on January 15, 2022, at JourneyCare Hospice in Barrington.
Marie was born in Chicago on February 15, 1924, to parents Edward and Elisa (nee Moeller) Bitter. She married William Engelhardt in May of 1949 and spent many happy years together before his death on April 11, 1990.

Marie is survived by her daughters, Donna Gasparas, and Carol Parker, her 8 grandchildren, her 14 great-grandchildren, her daughter-in-law, Shelly Engelhardt, and her sister-in-law, Janet Bitter.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Engelhardt, her son, Alan Engelhardt, her son-in-law, Gene Gasparas, and her granddaughter, Laura Engelhardt.
