Brian J. Kennedy, 33 of Gilberts, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, March 25, 2013.
He was born July 8, 1979 in Champaign-Urbana, Illinois, the son of Michael and Diane (Kennedy) Hornsby. He was raised in Carpentersville and graduated from Barrington High School. He had worked alongside of his uncle in the sheet metal business for many years. He loved dogs, skateboarding, movies, enjoyed the outdoors and was known as a jokester.
He is survived by his parents, Diane & Michael Hornsby, his children, Coby James, Jayden Michael & McKenzie Rae Kennedy, his sister, Ashley Marie (Brian) Lukac all of Belvidere, his brother, Bradley Joseph (Christine) Clemmons of Tolono, Illinois, his grandmother, Beverly Kennedy of Huntley, his uncle, Bill Kennedy of Burlington and his aunt, Denise (Kurt) Daniel of St. James, Missouri.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Friday, March 29th and the service at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 30th all at the DeFiore-Jorgensen Funeral & Cremation Service, 10763 Dundee Road, Huntley. Burial will be at a later date.
