Elizabeth Paszternak, 86, died peacefully at JourneyCare Barrington on February 6, 2022.
Elizabeth was born in Hungary on January 20, 1936, to parents Alexander and Maria Lakatos.
She was happily married to Leslie Paszternak, Sr. and together they raised their three children.
Elizabeth is survived by her children, Leslie Paszternak, Jr., John (Carmen) Paszternak, and Joseph (Debra) Paszternak, and her grandchildren, Jeffrey, Brandon, Samantha, Jim, and Nicholas.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Leslie Paszternak, Sr., her parents, and her aunt.
Visitation will be Thursday, February 10, 2022, from 3 p.m. to time of prayer service 6:30 p.m. at DeFiore Funeral Home, 10763 Dundee Road, Huntley.
Mass will be Friday, February 11, 2022, at 10 a.m. with an hour visitation prior, all at St. Mary Catholic Church, 10307 Dundee Road, Huntley.
Interment to follow mass at St. Mary Catholic Cemetery, 1401 N. Richmond Road, McHenry.
