Obituary

Linda Marion Goble Hunt of Huntley, IL passed away with family by her side on Sunday, February 27, 2022. Linda was born on July 29, 1942, in Oak Park, IL. She is preceded in death by her father, Wayne Goble Sr, mother Marion Goble and brother, Wayne Goble, Jr. Linda is survived by her husband of sixty years, Norman Hunt, son David Hunt of Loudon, Tennessee, wife Jennifer and granddaughter Emma; son Daniel Hunt of Montgomery, IL, wife Jenny, granddaughter Kristen Hunt, step-granddaughters Allyson and Danielle Johnson and step-grandson Braxton, and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews. She and her family were longtime residents of Elburn, IL. Linda worked as an Administrative Assistant at Masonite in West Chicago, IL for 15 years. She retired to Minocqua Wisconsin for 8 years and then moved back to Huntley in 2005. Linda loved to travel, cook, bake, knit and spend time on the lakes fishing in Northern Wisconsin with her husband Norm. Her kindness, sense of humor, and dedication to her family were only a few of her many qualities.

Friends and family will gather on Saturday, March 5 at DeFiore Funeral Home in Huntley, Illinois. Visitation will be on Saturday, March 5 from 9am-11am with a service at 11am all at the DeFiore Funeral Home -10763 Dundee Road, Huntley, IL
