Suzanne Lee Whitlow, 83, died peacefully in her Algonquin, IL home on Wednesday, March 9, 2022.
Suzanne was born on September 4, 1938, in Decatur, IL to parents William C. and Sophronia I. Moss. Following her 1956 graduation from Taylorville High School she married her high school sweetheart, C. Garry Whitlow on August 24, 1958. Suzanne was very active in the Pekin Hospital League and a member of the Pekin Presbyterian Church. She was a member of the P.E.O Sisterhood Chapter GW Pekin. Suzanne was an Executive Assistant at Greenville College. She also worked as a Legal Secretary in a law firm in Pekin, IL. Suzanne loved traveling, playing bridge, knitting and was an avid reader.
Suzanne had many friends, was a kind and graceful woman who will be missed by all who knew her.
Suzanne is survived by her two daughters, Valerie Whitlow of Johnsburg, IL and Jennifer Schey (Greg Wallace) of Chicago, IL, and her two brothers, Gary (Judi) Moss of Las Vegas, NV and Philip (Linda) Moss of Washington, IL.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, C. Garry Whitlow and both her parents.
Cremation rites have been accorded and private family services will be held at a later date.
