Brendan S. Berry, 73, of Huntley, died peacefully, March 20, 2022, at his home with his family by his side.
Brendan was born August 28, 1948. On October 3, 1970, he married Kathy Califf. He was an avid reader and movie buff and had a lifelong passion for music. He and Kathy enjoyed traveling and remodeling their homes. His greatest joy was spending time with family, especially his children, grandchildren and great grandchild. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin and friend who will be missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his wife; Kathy Berry; his children, Jennifer (Aaron) Slad, Jessica Berry and Erik Berry; his grandchildren, Evan (Lisa), Logan and Caden and by his great grandson, Landon. He is also survived by his brother Jack (Debbie); his sister, Denise; his sister-in-law Laura (Ed); his brothers-in-law Charlie (Linda), Johnny (Phyllis) and Pat; and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Brendan was preceded in death by his parents, his mother and father in-law, and by his sister, Cheryl.
Visitation will be on Sunday, March 27, 10am until Noon at DeFiore Funeral Home -10763 Dundee Road, Huntley, Illinois.

My sincere condolences to all the Berry family. Brendan hired me as an apprentice at The Art Institute and then hired me as an engineer. He was a good man and always good to me. May he rest in peace.
