Zofia K. Mezyk, 94, of Huntley, died peacefully in her home on March 26, 2022.
Zofia is survived by her children, Kazimierz (Bozena) Mezyk, Helena (Fryderyk) Wenc, and Maria (Mariusz) Gajda, her grandchildren, Andy (Rene), Anna (Ray), Greg (Iza), Rich (Eva), Agnes (Rick), Robert (Jenn), Dan (Caitlin), and Chris (Sylvia), and her 14 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Stanley Mezyk, and her siblings, Stanley (Stefa) Kuklewicz, Stefa (Stanley) Szwiec, Jan (Michalina) Kuklewicz, and Helena (Edward) Kucharski.
Visitation will be Friday, April 1, 2022, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. with a prayer service at 7 p.m. at DeFiore Funeral Home, 10763 Dundee Road, Huntley.
Mass will be Saturday, April 2, 2022, at 10 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church, 10307 Dundee Road, Huntley, with a visitation an hour prior.
Interment to follow mass at St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery, 1185 W Algonquin Road, Palatine.
