Obituary

Roland “Bob” Quinn, 79, of Crystal Lake, formerly of Cary, died peacefully on April 4, 2022.
Bob was born in St. Louis, Missouri on December 19, 1942, to parents Roland and Charlotte (nee Cook) Quinn. Bob married Marjorie Cassel on December 19, 1964. Bob was incredibly proud of his Irish heritage and instilled that love in his family. He was a positive and friendly man who wanted everyone to leave him with a smile on their face. Bob loved to spend time outdoors fishing and gardening. Bob was an incredibly polite and humorous man who truly cherished his family. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Bob is survived by his wife, Marge Quinn, his daughters, Debbi Quinn, and Cheri (Vinny) Pacello, his grandchildren, Kyleigh and Alicia, his sister, Jean (Jaime) Fabela, and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Saturday, May 7, 2022, from 10 a.m. to time of memorial service 12 noon, all at DeFiore Funeral Home, 10763 Dundee Road, Huntley. The memorial service will be streamed live on the DeFiore Facebook page: www.facebook.com/defiorefuneral

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made in Bob’s name to The Salvation Army Crystal Lake Corps Community Center, 290 W. Crystal Lake Avenue, Crystal Lake, IL 60014

So sad to hear of his passing. I am going to send a memorial donation to Salvation Army. He introduced me to the goodness of the Army years ago and I continue to donate frequently. God bless you all.
