Obituary

Joey Angelo Imparato, 30, of West Dundee, died peacefully, April 8, 2022, at his home with his family by his side.
At a young age he was diagnosed with a genetic, progressive, neurodegenerative disorder called Friedreich’s Ataxia, and over the last few months suffered end-stage heart failure.
Joey was born May 3, 1991, in Park Ridge, Illinois the son of Frank and Dawn Imparato. When he was young he enjoyed online gaming with his older brother, cousins, and friends. Spending years crafting his online World of Warcraft alter-ego, Buss the mischievous Gnome Rogue. As an adult, he became interested in stocks and currencies and was a tenacious poker player. He was a regular at the West Dundee VFW Hall for Monday night BINGO.
Although he was physically challenged, and could not live the life he truly wanted, he always found things to keep his mind occupied.
He is survived by his parents, Frank and Dawn Imparato, his siblings, Nicole and Frank, his Grandma Marilyn Glinzak, Aunts, Lorinda (Gino) Crededio, Marilyn (Becky) Imparato, Uncles, Joey (Christy) Imparato, Terry (Theresa) Jerman, Michael Imparato, and Mario Imparato, and by his cousins, Jeni, Gino, Cassi, Angelo and Rheannon.
Joey was preceded in death by his Great-grandfather Joseph, Grandpa Tony, Grandpa Frank “Farina”, Grandma Joy, Auntie Francie, Uncle Michael, great friend Scottie, and beloved pet, Zeus.
A memorial service will be held on April 14th from 5-9pm with a service being held at 7:30pm at the West Dundee VFW Post 2298 (117 S First Street, West Dundee). In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to FARA https://curefa.org/donate
