Margaret A. Amedeo, 91, of Huntley, died peacefully, April 10, 2022, at her home with her family by her side.
Margaret was born December 31, 1930, the daughter of Joseph and Susan Linden. On August 4, 1951, she married the love of her life Sam J. Amedeo. She worked for United Airlines in the accounting department. She was a woman of strong faith who lived a Christ centered life. She was an avid bridge player and reader, last year alone she read 230 books. Margaret had a keen sense of humor and was incredibly kind and welcoming to everyone she met. Her greatest joy was her family, especially her grandchildren. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend who will be missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her four children and their spouses, nine grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. Margaret was preceded in death by her beloved husband Sam and grandson.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, April 12, 2022, from 9:00am until 10:00am with a Mass being celebrated at 10:00am all at St. Mary Catholic Church-10307 Dundee Road, Huntley, IL 60142. Entombment will be private at All Saints Cemetery.

I met Mrs. Amedeo many years ago when my sister married Dave. She was so easy to talk to and one of the kindest people I've ever had the pleasure to have known. She will be missed.
Marge was a dear friend and neighbor. Her wit and skill at the bridge was enjoyed for over 40 years. May she rest in peace with her dear Sam.
