Theresa M. Jacobs, 91 and four weeks old, died peacefully on April 6, 2022.
Theresa was born March 10, 1931 in Chicago, Illinois. She married William Jacobs who passed away in 1999. She was very devoted and faith filled, belonging to St. Mary’ Church and a rosary group. Theresa was very independent and active until the end. She was very proud of her Sicilian heritage and the fact that she was the last surviving matriarch of the families. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend who will be terribly missed by all who knew her.
Theresa is survived by her daughters Christine Jacobs (Jerry Mitchell) and Jill (Edward) Hoff, and by her grandchildren Megan and Eddie Hoff. She was preceded in death by her husband William, and her one sister and three brothers.
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 22, 2022 from 9-10 a.m. with a Mass at 10:00 a.m. all at St. Mary Catholic Church, 10307 Dundee Rd., Huntley, IL. Burial will be at All Saints Cemetery in Des Plaines, IL. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the American Heart Association.

I am so saddened to learn of Theresa's passing. I was her Visiting Angel for just a short time. I always enjoyed spending time with Theresa. Her love for her family and for life was evident and shined out from her heart. May God be your comfort as you grieve and heal from this precious loss. Praying for peace for you all.
