Elizabeth T. Anderson, 92, of Huntley, died peacefully on April 19, 2022, at The Fountains in Crystal Lake.
Elizabeth was born in Chicago on December 1, 1929, to parents John and Frances (nee Malee) Waddick. She married Carl Anderson in Niagara Falls on August 2, 1977, and the couple spent many happy years together traveling the United States and taking many cruises together. Carl and Elizabeth loved to dance and they loved spending time with their children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Elizabeth enjoyed being involved in so many different organizations in Sun City, Huntley where they lived. She loved to knit hats for babies in the Hospital. She loved to spend time with the Red Hat Society and making furniture in the wood shop.
Elizabeth is survived by her children, Raymond Lee Horvath, and Bradley Joseph (Karyn) Horvath, her stepchildren, Vicki Lees, and Susan Heikkinen, six grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her late husband, Carl Anderson, and her late brothers and late sister.
Visitation will be Sunday, May 15, 2022, from 11 a.m. to time of memorial service 1 p.m. at DeFiore Funeral Home, 10763 Dundee Road, Huntley.
Inurnment at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery.
