Anna Mae Trausch, 79, of Huntley, IL stepped into eternity on Monday, May 23, 2022.
She was born May 5, 1943, in Chicago, IL to Thomas and Agnes (McCaughey) McKenna, both of whom immigrated to the US from Ireland.
Anna graduated from Saint Gertrude Elementary School in 1957 and from Immaculata High School in 1961. Her friends and family were the most important things in the world to her. With her hands, her words, and her sense of humor she touched the lives of many of each of these throughout her lifetime.
Anna is survived by her loving husband of fifty-three years, Gerald Trausch; her daughters Jennifer (Vincent) Westfallen, and Julie (Mario) Saravia; her sister Eileen (George) Constable; her six adoring grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her sisters, Patricia McKenna, Evelyn Rutan, and Mary (William) McDermott; and her brother Thomas (Grace) McKenna.
A celebration of Anna’s life will be held on June 5, 2022, from 1 p.m. to time of service 3 p.m. all at DeFiore Funeral Home, 10763 Dundee Road, Huntley.
