Kimberly D. Shower, 59, of Dundee, died peacefully at her home on June 7, 2022.
Kimberly was born September 15, 1962, the daughter of Jerry and Carol Matlock. On December 6, 1980, she married Steve Shower. She was co-owner of Cross Container Corp. Kim was a dog lover, enjoyed her flowers and was a crafter. She loved to gamble and loved Vegas. One of her favorite past times was to sit on her patio and soak up the sun. Her greatest joy was her family, especially her grandchildren. She was a loving wife, mother, grandma, sister, and friend who will be missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her husband, Steve, and mother, Carol, her children, Steve (Elizabeth)Shower, Amanda (Maurice) Jackson, Dan (Alyssia) Shower, her four grandchildren, Malea, Henry, Makenna, and Theo, and by her brother, Gerald (Michelle) Matlock, and sister, Tammy Matlock and by many nieces and nephews.
Kim was preceded in death by her father, Jerry Matlock.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, June 14, 2022, from 4-7pm with a service at 7pm all at DeFiore Funeral Home-10763 Dundee Road, Huntley. In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to Anderson Animal Shelter or Faithwalk Harvest Church.
