Joseph W. Klemencic Jr., 51 of Pingree Grove died June 5th 2022. Joseph was born April 22, 1971 the son of Joseph and Veronica Klemencic. On September 7, 1995 he married Melissa L. Drydale.
He enjoyed working as Deputy CISO for FermiLab for over 20 years. Joe loved remote control helicopters, planes and cars. He also enjoyed running Santa’s Landing and dressing up as the Grinch for years. He started learning about computers as a kid and it was his passion. He was a loving husband, father, son, brother and friend who will be missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his wife, Melissa, his children, Samuel, and Christopher and by his parents, Joe, and Veronica Klemencic. He is also survived by his siblings, Jannine (James) Griese, Johanna (Jefferey) Lewandowski, Jeanette Fletcher, and Kim Curtis and Richard Klemencic, by his nephew, Nicholas and nieces, Anna, and Elizabeth.
Joe was preceded in death by his grandparents.
Visitation will be On Thursday, June 16, 2022 from 4-8pm with a service at 6:30pm all at DeFiore Funeral Home-10763 Dundee Road, Huntley.

Joe is greatly missed. I worked on the same floor at FCC and he would stop by to say hi in the mornings. It was fun to see video of the Christmas displays and tips for flying drones. But I will always remember his words of encouragement, his kindness when our son was having serious health issues. I will miss his friendship.
