It is so sad to hear about the passing of a great friend. I met Bill while we were working for a communication company in Chicago. I enjoyed listening to some of his stories about the various jobs he had. Like his obituary says, he had a wonderful sense of humor, quick wit, and love life in general. He was extremely proud of his daughter, and had tremendous love for her. Once I left Chicago we kept in touch via emails. It was and is my pleasure to have met, and worked with him. May God have mercy on his soul.

Scotty has been my best friend for 53 years. We certainly enjoyed each other's company through good times and bad. I'll miss him like a brother.

I have known Bill for many years and was so sad to hear of his passing.. We had very good times together fishing in the Catskills, also enjoyed time with him at a rifle range in New jersey. I enjoyed many phone calls with Bill some of which he talked about his sailing trips in Rhode Island, and his many adventures on his job. Above all he spoke of his wonderful and caring daughter Eileen, and couldn't say enough about his Grand sons Wyatt and Jack. I was happy he got a chance to see them both... Yes I'll miss his calls and his emails, but most of all I'll miss him.... "Rest in Peace Bill"

you always like to throw a literary reference into a conversation and then have me guess where it came from. Well, here's one last one for you. "With the albatross released from 'round his neck, he felt his soul rise to the heavens. His spirit soared upwards on the winds and he rode the winds of the world over all the oceans that he loved so well." Keep a steady course Captain. Until we meet again, God keep you in his loving arms.
