Maureen E. Kalinowski, 60, of Lake in the Hills, died peacefully, July 2, 2022, with her family by her side.
Maureen was born January 10, 1962, the daughter of John P. and Kathleen Brennan. Maureen earned her BA from Judson College and went on to Earn her MBA from National Louis University. On March 7, 1992, she married Henry Kalinowski, they were married for thirty years. She was always the first to help wherever there was a need. She was kind, generous and always caring for others. She enjoyed shopping, time with family, and then more shopping and had a coupon for everything. She enjoyed planting, flowers, and travel on cruises with Henry. Maureen was a loving wife, sister, aunt, and friend who will be missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her husband, Henry Kalinowski, her siblings Mary Pat Starnes, Michele (Joe) DiCanio, John (Shelley) Brennan, Michael (Dorice) Brennan, Timothy (Wendy) Brennan, and Margaret (Craig) Zagorski. The wife of the late Jack Brenan, Marguerite Brennan. Maureen is also survived by Henry’s family, Jane (Larry) Sydor, Stanley (Pam) Kalinowski, and Theresa (John) Pollack and many nieces and nephews and by her beloved baby dog Buddy.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John “Jack” and Kathleen “Kay”Brennan.

Maureen, I have known you as a phenomenal proactive STE since I joined the organization a year ago. No words can express how sorry I am for your loss. As Christians, we believe in the Resurrection. Death is just a transition to experience the eternal Beatific Vision where there will be no more pain and sorrow. Eternal rest grant unto her, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon Maureen. Our condolences and prayers. She will be very missed. She was our neighbor and friend. I will miss seeing her and our wonderful chats that were meant to be 5 minutes and somehow turned into an hour. I was often the recipient of her many coupons. She was always so kind, thoughtful and always looking out for everyone. Rest in peace my dear friend.
