Diane Lynn Chamberlain, 81, of Huntley, died peacefully in her home with her husband by her side on July 9, 2022.
Diane was born in Elgin on January 23, 1941, to parents Edward and Hazel Jurgins. She married Robert Chamberlain after reconnecting at their 25th High School Reunion. Diane was a registered nurse who saved many lives through CPR. She was caring and compassionate to animals and loved to spend time in her garden. She was strong willed and curious about the world, and she treasured the many years spent living with Robert in Hawaii. She will be missed dearly by all who knew her.
Diane is survived by her beloved husband of 32 years, Robert Chamberlain, her son, Gary Dunn, her stepdaughter, Melissa (Bruce) Chamberlain, and her grandchildren, Mikayla and Emma.
She was preceded in death by her son, Russell Dunn, and her brother, Richard Jurgins.
Visitation will be Saturday, July 16, 2022, from 9 a.m. to time of service 10 a.m. all at Trinity Lutheran Church, 11009 N Church Street, Huntley.
