Obituary

Frank Martin Mueller, 81, of Huntley, died peacefully, July 17, 2022, at home with his family by his side.
Frank was born March 14, 1941, the son of Frank and Anna. In 1963 he married Jean M. Holz. Early on he worked as a Butcher, and went on to spend most of his career at Speed Fam overseeing the precision grinding group, with the focus on medical equipment. He traveled throughout the US and Mexico to teach/train the staff how to operate the equipment. Frank had an award-winning unique laugh and always enjoyed putting a smile on people’s faces. He was known to carry props with him and to always have a trick mouse or red nose on hand for a laugh. He was a talented woodworker and created many hand carved ships and walking canes of which he was very proud. Frank was a member of the Sportsman Club in Sun City. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend who will be missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his wife, Jean, his children, Kristine (Craig) Hockings, Valerie (Timothy) Regan and Ed (Heather) Mueller, by his grandchildren, Rochelle, Christopher, Samantha, Trevor, Hailey, and Katelyn and by his sister, Dorothy Chanley and brother, Don (Pam) Mueller and many nieces and nephews. Frank was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Alma (Glen) Hoops.
A private celebration of life will be held.
