Mom, your family is greiving and will miss you very much. In the Bible, Proverbs 31:25 says: "She is clothed with strength and dignity; she can laugh at the days to come." You have lived a life with strenght, dignity, and laughter. Let's share the moments that celebrate your story. May the Lord be with you, keep you, and bless you. Your loving son, Jeff

Sharon will be so missed at Shepherd of the Prairie. When I was on the Congregational Council, I was the Council liaison to our Mission Team of which Sharon was a member. She worked tirelessly and always with that beautiful smile on her face. I remember fondly her working with the youth reaching out to church members to write postcards to children with terminal illnesses. Sharon was so, so kind, and I will definitely miss her. She is now at peace and I will be praying for the same for Dave, the children and the grandkids.

Sharon was my dear Christian friend, who I will miss so very much. She and Dave were the first couple my husband and I became friends with when we moved to Del Webb in 2015. We met them at the Euchre Club and they invited us to their home to play Euchre. We also met Sharon and Dave in AZ and they invited us to their place. It was there that she taught us how to play Mexican Train, which she was very good at. I enjoyed playing it at Alden Estates with her when I visited her there. She was always so sweet and cheerful in spite of her problems. I will always remember in 2019 after my sweet husband died, I had a knee replacement. Sharon visited me at the rehab center and waited over an hour until I finished physical therapy. She then gave me a beautiful plant. I remember when she showed me her new bike, which was to help make her legs stronger. Little did we know this was the beginning of her illness.. I remember she recommended something for me that helped her with her leg pain because I also had leg pain. I remember how she recruited people at church to help with the food bank, and she was disappointed when we didn't volunteer. Sharon was the kindest, sweetest lady and an amazing friend who shared my love for Jesus. I will miss her so very much, but I am so grateful she is now enjoying the amazing presence of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and we will meet again in Heaven. Thank you Sharon for being my friend.

Fondly remembering the time we spent together in Arizona, and your contagious enthusiasm when you showed us your vintage Native American artifact. It was a fun day! Here at home friends and neighbors were privy to your strength and bravery as you faced a debilitating illness. Rest in peace, Sharon, as you cross over into the arms of the angels.

I will miss her smile and of course her blueberry pound cake. I’m sure Sharon put up with a lot from Jim at Motorola but I know how much he valued the great care she took of him. I know they are in heaven together along with others who have gone before them.

We're going to miss Sharon. She was always upbeat and helpful. Her picture shows this so clearly. We enjoyed sharing time with both Dave and Sharon in St Pete's and again at our house when they stayed with us on their way home to IL. Her deep religious beliefs certainly helped her throughout her battle with ALS. Dave and family stay strong together through this difficult time.

Sharon will be missed so much by her friends in St. Pete, but will never be forgotten. We met her and Dave about 9 years ago and quickly became friends. Her quit wit and infectious laugh were some of her wonderful traits. Our “Happy Hours” will never be the same without her, but we will always keep her in our thoughts and prayers. May she rest in eternal peace with her Lord Jesus Christ.

Sharon was the first person to greet us when we moved to Schaumburg in 1981. I think it was within minutes of our moving in. Dave followed shortly. It was Sharon who invited me to attend Lord of Life Lutheran church, turning this life-long Methodist into a Lutheran. She remained a good friend and neighbor during our years in Schaumburg. I regret not having kept in touch. Love to the family. We remember all of you fondly.

Florence Pilarski williams 2022-07-24 11:22:23
