Lorraine T. Paglini, 90, of Lake in The Hills, passed away peacefully, July 28, 2022, at her home. She was born July 5, 1932, in Chicago, the daughter of Stanley and Anna Bratko. On May 9, 1959, she was united in marriage to Samuel Paglini. The couple made their home in Chicago. Lorraine was faithful to her Church and devoted much of her time to prayer. She loved her Polish traditions, including speaking Polish to her family and friends, many of whom she met while working as a supervisor at the Polish Roman Catholic Union of America for many years. She loved her job and spending time with her family and friends. She was an amazing cook and was a member of the St. Mary Woman’s Club. She was a loving mother, Babci, and friend who will be missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her daughters, Nadine (Thomas) Konieczny, Darlene (Nayer) Khouzam, by her grandchildren, Thomas (Lyndsay), Elissa (Michael), Natalie, Lauren, Matthew & Jonathan, and by her great grandchildren, Connor, Levi, Elliott, and Jonathan. She was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel, and her siblings, Mitchell, Stanley, and Veronica.
Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m on Friday, August 5th at St. Mary Catholic Church, 10307 Dundee Road, Huntley. The Funeral Mass will follow at 11:00 am.
