Philip Biagioni

Obituary

Philip Rand Biagioni, 37, passed on September 29, 2022, in Plano, Illinois.
Philip was born in Winfield, Illinois, on October 28, 1984, and graduated from Geneva High School in 2003. Philip worked for Jewel-Osco, then crafted his skills maintaining decks, and for the past decade worked as a chimney sweep.
Phil, commonly referred to as “Flipper” by his mother, was an exceptional bowler, winning many league titles including a Mother/Son League and scoring several perfect 300 games. Phil was an avid fisherman and had recently discovered the joys of ice fishing. He was a diehard Chicago sports fan, especially the White Sox and Blackhawks (but detested the Cubs). Phil was extremely hardworking and a fiercely loyal friend. Referred to as “Funny Phil” by his cousins’ children, he was often found at family functions playing and laughing with all the kids. If there was a dog present, Phil would always leave covered in dog hair. Phil’s goofy personality, love of the outdoors, and impressive facial hair will be dearly missed.

He is survived by his parents Randolph and Margaret Biagioni, his sister Dana (Matt) O’Halloran, and nephew Royce O’Halloran, as well as his grandmother Rose Biagioni.
Philip was preceded in death by his grandfather Leo Biagioni and his grandparents Frank and Hazel Jerling.

A memorial will be held on Thursday, October 6, 2022, from 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. all at DeFiore Funeral Home, 10763 Dundee Rd, Huntley.
Following the memorial, Philip’s family invites everyone for bowling, food, and drinks at Glo-Bowl Fun Center at 101 Franks Rd, Marengo.

To honor Philip’s love of Chicago sports, please dress casually in your favorite Chicago sport’s team attire (Cubs gear prohibited).

In lieu of flowers, please donate to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (afsp.org).
