We are saddened to learn about Mark. He will always be remembered as a kind soul who led with his heart. His kindness and generosity were always shared with a smile. I had a great time with him in Chicago last year when we spent the day at a marketing event. We talked and laughed the entire day about the old days. I think what we remember most is that Mark was always the first one to recognize if anyone was left alone at a party or gathering; he would come right over and start up a conversation always making sure everyone felt at home. May our good Lord bring Mark into His joyful home where there are no more tears. We will miss you.

Dear Mark’s Family, I wanted to share with you some of the precious memories I have with Mark. I had the pleasure of working just down the hall from him. He has great style and his sock-game is truly epic. You could count on Mark for a smile and a friendly hello Amy day of the week. We would often stop to talk to one another on his walks around the hallways. He enjoyed his walks to work and around the neighborhood. Mark was a very special person. He was kind, humble, gentle, and loved his family very much. I was so excited when his first year on our team I got Mark for secret Santa. He shared about how he loved to journal and read the Bible every morning. His faith was steady, grounded, and a beautiful reflection of deep personal faith. Since I left that job, I often thought about Mark, including just minutes before I learned of the terrible news. I’m grateful for the time I got with him and will miss him dearly.
