Daniel Edward Massaro, 55, of Huntley, died peacefully in his home on October 16, 2022.
Dan is survived by his children, Hayley Massaro, and Avery Massaro, his mother, Irene Massaro, his sister, Karen (Nate) Cooper, his aunt Helen (Ted) Gradowski, his uncle, Roman (Jennifer) Pikulicky, his cousins, Ron (Jody) Casida, James Pikulicky, and Greg Gradowski, his dogs, Ninja and Shadow, and his rabbit, Poppy.
He was preceded in death by his father, John Massare, and his dog, Hamlet.
Visitation will be Monday, October 24, 2022, from 3 p.m. to time of service 6:30 p.m. all at DeFiore Funeral Home, 10763 Dundee Road, Huntley.

This was such heartbreaking news to learn about. Dan was a concerned and engaged father, and enjoyed laughter and cooking for events as well as his family. My prayers are gathered around his beloveds as they mourn his loss at this time. I love you all, and will help wherever possible. ♥
