My prayers and thoughts are with you all during this time. No matter how old, we miss our family members when they pass. I didn’t know Jack well, at all, but do remember meeting him a few times many years ago and having fond memories of those times.
I am so very sorry to have heard that Uncle Jack passed away yesterday. He held a special place in my heart. Remembering the picnics where he and many of the other Neven's would play horseshoes, volleyball and bocce ball. He was the greatest! I know I've been out of touch for countless years moving all over the place and I'm sorry about that. I wish that I could be there. My condolences and prayers to the rest of the family and friends.
Mr. Neven was always a father figure to us in The Crew. To you sir, we Salute you! Always quick with the wit and a wealth of knowledge. The go to person when you needed to know anything obscure. Will miss your smile and will have a toast to you at The Gathering.
Jack was a good friend to all of us. He had a wonderful life and I enjoyed meeting with him. May he RIP.
I was fortunate to have known both Jack and Phyllis through my mother and the armed guard reunions. They were so happy go lucky people and a joy to talk to . Jack always spoke highly of my dad through his friendship over the years. Lots of great stories and I will remember the good things he had to say about their friendship.
Jack will always be remembered as our beloved past President of the Sun City Celtic Club (and as the Leprechaun he played in our Celtic stage plays). He always had a smile and a greeting for everyone. God bless you Jack for a life well-lived.
Eileen, sending my condolences to you and your family. I am so sorry for your loss. May you find comfort in all the wonderful memories you have of your dad and knowing that he is at peace.
