James Charles Daniels, 86, of Huntley, died peacefully on October 31, 2022, at Heritage Manor in Elgin.
James was born in Chicago on April 19, 1936, to parents Charles and Evelyn (nee Reuter) Daniels. He married Susan Smith on November 22, 1975.
James is survived by his beloved wife, Susan Daniels, his children, Brian Daniels, Karen (Michael) Cooper, and John Daniels, his grandchildren, Jennifer, Jeffrey, Kevin, Sean, Jessica (Grant), Jaclyn, Matthew, Mary Kate (Blake), and Christopher, his great-grandchildren, Koa and Ireland, and his siblings, Lois Miller, and Lawrence (Rita) Daniels.
He was preceded in death by his son, Thomas Daniels, his parents, his brother, Kenneth Daniels, and his brother-in-law, Raymond Miller.
Visitation will be Saturday, November 19, 2022, from 9 a.m. to time of Mass 10 a.m. all at St. Mary Church, 10307 Dundee Road, Huntley.
