Providencia Lozada, 100, of Huntley, died peacefully on December 3, 2022, in Elgin.
Providencia was born in Puerto Rico on December 15, 1921, to parents Ramon and Juana (nee Segarra) Diaz.
She is survived by her children, Frank (Sylvia) Lozada, Evelyn Lozada, and Luis Lozada, her 10 grandchildren, her 8 great-grandchildren, her siblings, Modesta, Ramonita, Manuel, Vicente, Ana, Harry, Valentin, and Antero, her two half-sisters, Victoria and Angela and her daughter-in-law, Nancy Lozada.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and her son, Pete.
Services were private at DeFiore Funeral Home.
