Michael John Angerame passed away unexpectedly December 15, 2022 at his home in Huntley. He was 58.
Michael was born in Chicago on September 22, 1964 to John and Arlene Angerame. Since his early days, Michael was on the move and making plans. He was a born leader, and found countless challenges to tackle. He graduated from HD Jacobs HS in 1982 where he was voted most likely to succeed, was president of the National Honor Society and Student Council.
He went on to complete his BS in both Biology and Economics from the University of Illinois Champaign and went on to study his MBA at The University of Oklahoma. Mike founded Kalani Capital Management where he was Chief Investment Officer and President.
Mike will be remembered for his outgoing nature and endless wit. He was always the life of the party and people could not help but be drawn to his loving nature. He was a dependable friend, and once you earned his loyalty, he was with you to the end.
He loved to travel, and spent as much time as he could in Hawaii. His favorite place in the world was Buddha Point where he often met with long time friends and renewed his spirit.
Michael is survived by his mother, Arlene Angerame, his sisters Annette (Jaime) Stoner and Diana (Randy) Story as well as his nieces and nephews Joseph, Allison, Jacob, Ryan, and Emma.
Michael was preceded in death by his father, John Angerame.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, December 27, 4-7pm at DeFiore Funeral Home-10763 Dundee Road, Huntley
A Funeral Mass will be held Wednesday, December 28, 2022 10am at St. Mary Church-10307 Dundee Road, Huntley.

One of our Delta Chi brothers at Illinois heard about Michael’s passing. We were in the house with Michael during undergraduate years. We are sad to hear of this sudden loss. We want to express our condolences to the family. Our memories of him were always with a smile on his face.
