Daniel F. Kozik, 56, of Huntley, died unexpectedly on December 17, 2022.
Daniel was born April 29, 1966, the son of Frank and Judith Kozik. In 1984 he graduated from Streamwood High School, where he was the creator of the school Crest. He later attended Columbia College, ECC and Second City. Dan was an artist and loved being around people. He had the gift of gab and could talk with anyone. He was bigger than life and always enjoyed being in the City. He was a loving son, brother, uncle, and friend who will be missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his sisters, Diane (Scott) Grafer, Lisa (Joe) DeVaux, his nieces, Katherine (Connor) Crowe and Meghan (Sean) Yocum and by his great nephew Joshua. Daniel was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be held on Monday, January 2, 2023 from 3:00 to 7:00pm with a service at 7pm all at DeFiore Funeral Home-10763 Dundee Road, Huntley.
