Barb was such a caring and sincere person. She was so full of love for others. Always fun to be around, and willing to help others, she had a great smile, good sense of humor, and big hugs to greet you. Her loss will be felt by all who knew and loved her. May her wonderful memories and the knowledge that she’s with the Lord comfort you, Al, Michelle and Kurt. Love, Moe

We are almost without words and not knowing what or how to say how much Barb's passing has affected us. It is so hard to believe that my sister Barbara Jean is gone, no more phone calls, funny cards, buying crazy silly gifts and we will always remember those fun times together at Mom's home in Marengo, playing cards, cooking meals together for many Thanksgivings, Christmases in the Schmidt's basement, planting things together, sharing recipes and when we got together, it was like we just were never apart even though we live 1300 miles apart. Barb, we love you and miss you. Take good care of Mom and Dad till we see you again. Alan and kids, we hope you guys are doing okay. Love you Barb, y Your sister (who shared a room with you for years) Carol and your brother-in-law Denny.
