I "knew" Mrs. Kandefer through her daughter Kathy, my colleague at the Religious Formation Conference. I searched for her obituary and am delighted to have found it. What a beautiful woman she was and what a rich and full life she led! And the number of children, grandchildren and great-grands she left behind! My sympathy to all of you who loved her; may she rest in peace!

I have wonderful memories of hanging at your house and your mom always made me feel welcome. I knew I could count on her and that meant a lot to me. I learned so much from having her as our Girl Scout Leader for years. I also remember her face when we were found at the drive in with Donna and Charlie while at Woody Acres! I look back know and am amazed that amount of time she dedicated to that along with everything else she did and a houseful of children. She lived a life of service to others. RIP Mrs. Kandefer and thank you.
