Obituary

Norman Fang, 89, of Huntley, died peacefully, January 20, 2023.
Norman was born February 28, 1933, in Chicago, the son of Adolph and Anna Fang. On November 15, 1958, he married Rosemary Tader. He proudly served in the United States Navy as a Seabee. He started his career in construction and started NF Construction Co., he ran that company from 1973-1998. He was the Director of the Park Ridge Community Bank for 18 years and was an active member of Spruce Street AC for 50 years. He was a former member of the Prairie Singers. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend who will be missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his wife, Rosemary Fang, his children, Michael (Erin) Fang, Thomas Fang, Stephen (Eda)Fang, Kevin (Shelly) Fang, Richard (Marie) Fang, Michelle (Vincent) Martorano and Eric (Mary) Fang, 6 grandchildren, Zeke (Angie), Luke, Rachel, Nicholas, Erich and Sydney, great grandson, Hunter.
Norman was preceded in death by his parents, twin brother, Albert, brothers, William, Adolph and sister, Anna.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 27, 2023, from 4-7 pm at DeFiore Funeral Home-10763 Dundee Road, Huntley. A second visitation will be held at Church from 12 Noon until the time of the Mass on Saturday, January 28, at 1pm at St. Mary Catholic Church-10307 Dundee Road, Huntley. Burial will be at St. Mary Cemetery.

My deepest sympathies for Norm's family and all his many friends who are grieving. I was very blessed to have Norm in my life as a role model in how to conduct ones self in daily life and more importantly in my walk with God. Thanks for who you were on this earth
