Nicole Santucci

Obituary

Nicole Jo Santucci, 44, died on February 6, 2023, in her home. Nicole was born in Arlington Heights on April 26, 1978, to parents Joseph and Barbara (nee Jenko) Santucci. She was a devoted daughter, sister, aunt and friend. Nicole loved to spend time with her family and friends. She loved to cook and listen to music, especially Rob Thomas and Matchbox 20. She enjoyed gathering with loved ones to celebrate special occasions, birthdays and holidays. Her favorite family traditions were spending the day together every Christmas Eve, enjoying all the snackies and fighting to be the first in line for the very first piece of dad’s lasagna and cinnamon rolls. In December of 2016, she became happily engaged to her high school sweetheart and best friend, Phillip Whitman, who later died in November of 2019. She was a generous and compassionate woman who loved her family and had a special place in her heart for her dogs. She will be missed dearly by all who knew her.

Nicole is survived by her parents, Joseph and Barbara Santucci, her siblings, Cari (Jim) Laramie, and Joey Santucci, nephew Jaden, nieces Jaci and Jami, her uncle, Dennis Jenko, her aunt, Patti (Bill) Carleton, her cousins, Billy Carleton (children: Mia & Liam) and Kelli (Jeff) Mallas (children: Caden), and her dog, Oliver George.
She was preceded in death by her beloved fiancé, Phillip Whitman, and their dog, Sadie.
