Obituary

Elmer R. Hook, 83, of Huntley, formerly of Huntington, Indiana and Hanover Park, died peacefully on March 16, 2023.
Elmer was born in Nashville, Arkansas on December 2, 1939. After meeting at work, Elmer married Joyce Grafstrom on July 21, 1962, and together the couple raised their daughter, Allison.

He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
Elmer is survived by his beloved wife of 60 years, Joyce Hook, his daughter, Allison (Ron) Wehrs, and his granddaughters, Amy (fiancé Alex Corcoran) Wehrs, and Kara (fiancé Adam Zurawski) Wehrs.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and his sister, Joyce (Don) Philippi.

Enough cannot be said about all of the memories I'll cherish of Elmer, he was like a second father to me, after growing up with Allison, since 4th grade. My thoughts & prayers are with Joyce, Allison & her family. God Bless
