Judy, The loss of a child is tragic, no matter what age they may be. I hope that in time there is healing and the tears you have today will be replaced with fond memories.

Judy, There are no words that can describe the meaning of grief, especially when you loose your child. I can’t begin to imagine the feelings you’re going through. I’ll say my prayers that your time of sorrow will be short, but your happy and good memories of Kyle remain with you forever.

Kyle was such a kind and loving person! My recent fond memory of him is when he served us lunch in your garden patio surrounded by all the lovely plants he nurtured. He assumed the part of a waiter at a high scale restaurant and not only had a choice of food, but a menu and made us feel like queens. This was his nature inspired by having such a wonderful Mom. May you be consoled by happy memories. Love always, Roni

I knew Kyle (I knew him as Doc Chaos) for a decade.. our friendship was near instant. We met through Grifball in Halo 4, and it just exploded from there. His passion, creativity, and straightforward approach was a great balancer in my life. During our time with both the Mixer Comedy Crew & The Respawn All-Stars he always offered both help, guidance, and a solid grasp on timing when he knew we needed a laugh. He coached people in games, made sure we didn't lose confidence in ourselves and listened when we (especially me) needed to cry, or to vent. Doc's approach to food was legendary. Not a weekend went by that we didn't discuss food in some way or another. He regularly coached me through so many different recipes. Everyone absolutely loved it, as we watered at the mouth, when he posted the pictures of what he had made that day. Our biggest bond however was music. I always looked forward to his review of sets I played, and regularly sought out new music together online. We shared so many different passions. Most recently Doc discovered a passion for photo editing & drone filming. I always looked forward to seeing his projects as they evolved. He colorized so many old black & white photos and gave them new life. His drone videos were exceptionally impressive. Doc was a brother, a friend, an incredible motivator and loved by gamers from around the globe. Not a day goes by that we don't feel his loss, which by comparison is nowhere near what you must be feeling Judy. From myself, and all of us at the Respawn All-Stars, we send our love, our thanks, and our sincerest condolences to his friends, his family... But mostly his mother, Judy. Thank you for giving me one of my greatest friends, and our community one of it's greatest leaders. I know there are no words that can hope to ease the sense of loss you are feeling, but know you are not alone, and we are all here if you need anything. DJBluePDX

Someone who would come to me every once a month to rant/vent stuff that was happening to him, made sure I was okay, that my community was okay, and always made sure that my mental health was okay, and if I've made any improvement since the last time we spoke. Even if we only spoke for an hour, it felt like a therapy session and it made me feel better, even if it was just for a little bit. Thank you for being a friend, supportive, a listener and having the time and energy to help others. It will never be forgotten.

When I first met Kyle, I knew him as Doc Chaos. What stood out to me immediately was not just how welcoming and nice he was to me, but also how much of a great conversationalist he was with all of us. He and I basically became DJ's main mods at one point, to the point to where we worked on the sound alerts together and would message each other about things we wanted to get done or moderation stuff when DJ was streaming. We also had fun playing games together like Golf with your Friends or Halo, where we would have the time of our lives just messing around and not taking the game too seriously. Saying he was a great friend would be an understatement, as he was a major part of the community, and potentially who made me get more involved in DJ's community. When I found out about his death, I was shocked and heartbroken, as he had become like a brother to me. Thanks for everything Kyle, for spartans never die!

Judy, I am so sorry to hear about you son. Our children should not die before us. I believe we can deal with these things by believing our loved ones are in a better place. I only met you that once last fall, but it looked like you and Bill had a good connection. Lean on Bill, as you know, he's one of the good guys.

Kyle had shared with me a number of stories that he had from his life. Through these stories we laughed, and joked. The stories he shared hold the memories that I will never let go. Kyle allowed his true self to shine and didn't care who saw or what they said about him. He was doing what he loved to do and be with who he appreciated, bringing happiness to those around him as well as himself. Kyle will live on through our memories. All of our memories are what Kyle was, and is. Please celebrate his life and make his memory a legacy.

My deepest and most heartfelt condolences to everyone. I knew Kyle by his online tag of Doc Chaos for a decade as we played together for years in Grifball on our Xboxes and later through our time helping our good friend DJ Blue in his livestreams, providing untold levels of laughter and shenanigans. Doc Chaos will never be someone to consider as one we have 'lost'. Because he can always be found in the great and positive effects he has made for the lives he saved, touched or cared for. Every laugh of a memory of him, every step taken in a career or hobby he helped to nurture or inspire, Doc Chaos can be found there. And that is something that will never go away.

It is still hard to believe what happened. I am writing from Brazil and the first thing I would like to say is that Kyle had an impact even overseas. I was really hoping we could met in person someday. But we had enough time to talk, laugh and have fun with the few things we found out we had in common. A great guy, a big heart. To his parents, whom I wish I could have adressed in different circumstances, I just have to say one thing: death does not hurt, only the ones who stay.

Kyle and my little brother grew up together. He was full of mischief and fun. And always a wiz with technology. I bought the house Kyle grew up in and I have his marks in my cement garage floor, which has always made me smile when I see it. Because Kyle is the best kind of person. I’m lucky I knew him.

I first met Kyle on Halo roughly 13 years ago. He was my first online friend that I made where would hop on to get in game and play with daily. I have so many memories of us losing it in laughter until one of us was crying from it. All these years later while we may not have been on Xbox playing games anymore we still would keep in touch multiple times a week through messaging apps. He was a great friend and I have many fond memories of the countless nights spent talking and gaming for hours on end, I will look back and remember them forever. Thank you for being such a good friend, I will miss you!
