Stephanie, Jennifer and all of Mary's loved ones. I am saddened to learn of Mary's death. We have not been in touch for many years, but I always treasured her unparalleled energy. She was a wonderful journalist and a good friend for many years. The mention of U2 and Tom Petty certainly made me smile. May many warm memories comfort you all.

Mary was the kindest person I have ever had the pleasure of working with. She was a beacon of light in the darkest of times at our old employer. I will miss getting together and chatting about our careers over restaurant dinners and drinks. A talented writer and creative person gone way too soon. Fly high with the angels Mary. I will miss talking to you and your great advice. ❤️
